PSIRT Change Status Action - bug or incorrect process?

We are trying to manage alerts and when we select a row, click on Change Status action, we get a pop up that says you must first "ignore" or "acknowledge" the alert.  I thought you did that by changing the status.  Is this a bug or am I incorrect in my process?  See attached image.

Hi Deanna,

I know we responded off-line, but I wanted to ensure the answer is also posted here in the forum.

Alert status is changed from the Active Alerts report under the Administration library in the portal.  Here you can respond to alerts either by individual affected devices or by all affected devices.
