Smart Net Transfer of Coverage from US to Canada

I have a customer who is looking to move some of their 9200 & 9300 switches as well as some APs from their United States sites to their recently purchased sites in Cananda. Will there be any issues on smartnet coverage with the change of site from the US to Canada?

I'm in the process of doing this where I moved devices from one country to another.  But I was told by our Cisco account manager that Smartnet site moves only can be done within region/country. 

So, luckily my Cisco reseller was willing to credit us the upcoming months, and then I just had to pay the difference for new coverage.
