SNTC file upload mismatch

Hello,

First time I noticed serious mismatch after another csv file upload to SNTC. Many devices in my inventory has wrong PID types. For example one of C819G-4G-G-K9 was replaced to WS-C3750G-24TS-S. (why?...)

One line of imported csv file:

device-003432,10.10.23.104,FCZxxxxxxxx,C819G-4G-G-K9,00-00-00-00-00-00,branch-0787,IOS,15.5(3)M7

SNTC inventory shows as attached.

Regards,

Piotr

Hi,

I am still investigating on this. I will update you with detail on finding when I have.

Thanks,

Supriya

I have this same problem. Out of the 400 some odd devices I uploaded, the portal royally screwed up the product Id on about 100 of them.

And I'm not talking minor differences. It identified ASAs as 2960X. It even promoted an SG200 to a 3750.

I do see a pattern, though. It looks once it mistakes a device for, say a WS-C2960X-48TS-L, it keeps misidentifying devices as a WS-C2960X-48TS-L for a while until it switches to some other screw up.
