Upgrade to version 2.7.4.2 failed.
Able to log into the GUI and all seems operational in regards to inventory and upload processes.
I am able to login as user collectorlogion/root to the Unix portion of the CLI.
I am unable to log into the admin shell portion of the CLI. I receive the following error -
java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused (Connection refused)

Error occured: could not connect to the database server.
Please make sure mysql database server is up and running.
I have attempted re-installs through the root user but with no success.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Hi User,
What is the current version of collector?
Please provide log from /opt/cisco/ss/adminshell/logs/* from root before and after below service restart.
From root user, please try 'service adminshell restart' and wait for couple of min before you login back to user 'admin'. Please do let me know if issue persist.
Thanks,
Supriya

What is the current version of collector?
2.7.3
Please provide log from /opt/cisco/ss/adminshell/logs/* from root before and after below service restart.
I seem to be getting a "permission denied" error when I log in as the root user, but for some reason am able to run the output for the "apply" but not "install" or the asterisk.
This is both before and after restarting the admin shell service succesfully.

Hi Bryan,
Are you able to login after restart of adminshell?
I requested below log:
Please login to user root and zip all files from given folder and grab it from GUI
root # cd /opt/cisco/ss/adminshell/logs/
root # ls -l
root # zip -r adminloginissue.zip /opt/cisco/ss/adminshell/logs/
root # cp adminloginissue.zip $CSPCHOME/logs
Please login to GUI -> click on administration tab -> then export log file and sent it to me.
Thanks,
Supriya

I am still unable to log into the admin shell after the service restart - or a reboot.
I sent an email with the requested log file.
Thank you again for your assistance,
Bryan
