When following the procedure to enable software upgrades I am able to login to my collector as "collectorlogin" but I don't have a password for root. Do I have to reinstall?

Hello Dan,

Do you still have access to your CLI "admin" username and password?  This account allows you to generate a new password for root access using the command "pwdreset root 90".  The "90" represents the number of days you'd like to have the account active for.  You can change this value to your unique requirements.

Thank you,

Jarrett
