Wrong Serial Number in Inventory

Is there anyway to correct a serial number of a device in the inventory? If not, is there a way to delete a device from the inventory?

Hello,



In your case since it's a CSV import, you should not need to delete the inventory. After you make a correction to the CSV and re-import, it should update all the data and show the changes for you after processing.

Do you know if your serial number came from a CSV Import or an upload from a CSPC? If it was manually done via a CSV Import, you can correct the CSV file and issue a new upload to correct the data.



There is not a way to currently remove a single device, however the Portal recently released a feature to allow removal of an entire inventory name from the Portal. This is "Inventory Management" button on the left side window.

The serial number came from a CS import. So I will need to delete the Inventory, make the correction on the csv file and then re-import the csv file. Is this correct?
