Cisco supported 3.7.x and 3.6.x flexlinks.
However, 16.x.x does not support flexlink unilaterally.
Is not it too much?
There were no alternative technologies or guidelines.
What do you trust and use Cisco?

Hello
Unfortunately Flexlink is/has been depreciated in newer ios/xe trains, You could use however object tracking( line -protocol, ipsla, route etc..)

Thank you for your comment.
Flexlink can be used for various configurations.
I make many L2 configuration changes in industrial networks.
Redundancy can be configured very quickly.
With STP, you can not do anything for a default of 45 seconds.
There are many things that STP does not support in the default industry dummy hub.
So we used Flexlink to do a lot of improvements using Cisco switches.
There are a lot of problems because we do not support 16.x.x later.
ip sla is a good technology but difficult to use in an industrial network.
I want to have other skills.
Thank you.
