Cisco SX350X-24T change stacking ports

Hello,

i have 2 SX250X-24T switches at native stacking and chain stack topology. Switches are connected with 2 cables for stacking to each other, 1 UTP cat6 cable (port te12) and 1 SFP+ DAC cable (port te24).

Now i need to free all 4 SFP+ ports from each switch for connecting a new firewall/router device, so i need to reconfigure stack ports. I would like to reconfigure them to other available RJ45 10G ports (eg XG9 and XG10) at both switches.

The question is, can i do it WITHOUT network downtime (eg dropping current stack config and recreating a new one from scratch)? If yes, please enlighten me about how. If no, i would also need some guidance because i can't find anything related at switch documentation or at that forum.

Thank you in advance for your time.

George

no you can not! you can only use the uplink ports for stacking
Configure Stack Settings on an SG350X Switch - Cisco

all stack-members have a "single point of management" that is they share the same management ip-address
if you disconnect the stack-links, you have multple devices with the same ip-address
