Hi, I have purchased a CISCO SG-300 and downloaded the latest firmware for it which seems to be Sx300_FW_Boot_1.4.1.03.zip
I unzipped the file and navigated to Upgrade/Backup Firmware and browsed to the location of the file and selected the file and applied. But it errors and the error message shows Copy Failed.
Any idea?

If I recall correctly there's two images in the zip file, one "rommon" and one regular. Are you sure you chose the correct file and I'm assuming yous checked connectivity an authentication between the switch and the ftp/tftp server. I'd look at the ftp/tftp log, those probably hold the answer for you.

I was not using TFTP and Terminal, I was trying the update using the browser. Do you have instructions on how to update it using TFTP and Terminal?
Thank you

Hi
You have to upgrade boot code (rfb file) and firmware (ros file):

Thank you it was very helpful but where do I find the boot code from?
Don't see it in downloads.

Both files should be in the zip file you downloaded, if you don't have that download the zip file and look in it again.
