I have two SRW2048 switches. One was running 1.0.0.50 firmware, and the other 1.2.1 out of the box. We started having problems with the first switch where a printer would get disconnected from PCs trying to print to it on the same switch. If I moved the printer or PC or both to the second switch, printing was not a problem. I upgraded the 1.0.0.50 firmware to the latest 1.2.2d in the hopes of resolving the issue. Afterwards the management interface was extrememly sluggish, and I noticed that ping times to the management IP were very high (40-1300ms to any PC local to the switch) while pings to the other switch connected via LAG were low (2-10ms). I did a factory default reset, and this made the interface more manageable, but the high ping times remain. Disconnecting the LAG tends to improve the ping times, but not by much. I'm not sure if the high ping is related to the printer problems, but something definately seems wrong with this particular switch. Can anyone suggest how to debug this so I know whether to request an RMA. (The switch should still be under warranty.)
We've had a number of issues related to network devices dropping a conection, and they are all directly connected to the same switch. I've tried different cables and ports, so I'm running out of other ideas.
