Hi all,
I just bought a SG300-28, it is upgrade to the latest version firmware.
And then I am change it work on L3 Mode (Yes, I need it much work on L3 Mode)
Ok, but when I go to IP Configuration Page on the VLAN 1 (Please see the image)
http://explorerhome.dyndns.org/q/SG300-28_001.jpg
Edit it to static can't let me change it IP (Yes, it is now working on DHCP mode, and get a IP from my Firewall auto, it is IP 192.168.218.37 there)
How do I force the VLAN1 or Port 1 is IP 192.168.218.3 by GUI or by other way?
Best Regards,

Hi Jimmy, the easiest and fastest way to do this is in the CLI.
If you don't have a console, you can use telnet. To enable the telnet go to Security 0> TCP/UDP services, check the box for telnet and apply this.
Once done, telnet to the switch and log in
use the commands
config t
interface vlan 1
ip address x.x.x.x x.x.x.x (x.x.x.x = ip addresss and the second x.x.x.x = the mask something like 192.168.218.3 255.255.255.0)

Tom,
Thank you very much.
But, one more question ...
How to CLI save the running-config to the flash, so on future reboot will not lose anything on it?

Hi,
For Web GUI based setup I think this article's Change the IP Address of the Switch section would be helpful

Vishal,
Thank you of the KB link, but I am using Layer 3 Mode, so my case look like not work on above link since it is for Layer 2.
Whatever it is L3 or L2 Mode, I am still very thank you of your kindly help for a newbie like me there.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
Jimmy Chan
