Hi Rey, not with the small business switches. The small business switches stack with their own product line running the same software. Something like SGE2010 will not stack with SG500-48 as example.

Hi Rey, I don't know the direct answer, but I know a Cisco 3750 cannot stack with 3550 because the 3750 supports "stackwise" that doesn't interoperate with the 3550's gigstack. I suspect this may be the same answer for 3rd party vendors.

Hi Thomas,

Thanks for this very quick reply.  If may I add,  what about a Catalyst switch to that 3com model? Not unles that 3com model is also treated as a small business then there is no way to pair it.

Thanks,
