yes i looked there. But it looks like a 1000base sfp. But mine is 10g so why bring me wrong product with this SN?

@xariskk24 given serial of sfp is GLC-SX-MMD and its not 10G. check if your SFP SKU. for 10G SFPs, it is SFP-10G-SR

@xariskk24 its 10G. your typo done mistake in serial. normally warranty for SFPs are bound to the connected device as per my understanding. if this defective, you can open TAC case using device serial which this is connected to.

I am sure you need to check one of the digit wrongs in the provided number - fns20431356 ( that will change into different product).
if you sure its 10GB then check the numbers again
you can also insert to device - and you can see show inventory and show interface ten x/x trans

thank you all for your answers. I spoke with cisco chat agent and told me that otherwise is too old component and didnt have any warranty.

You typed the SR Number wrong - change from 5 to S - it will show you correctly.

Yes, I did take a look. It appears to be a 1000base sfp, though. But why did you send me the incorrect product with this SN while mine is 10g?

SKU is SFP-10G-SR.
