Hello,
I am setting up a network on some SG300 switches, I've used Cisco Catalyst switches in the past and I'm trying to configure Port_28 as the Trunk and then the other ports in different VLANs (100-120 etc).
Now I would normally use commands like;
switchport access vlan 111
switchport mode access
For access ports
and;
switchport mode trunk
For connections to the Cisco 2800
But this switch talks about "Tagged" "Untagged" "Excluded" "PVID"
And when you set a Port to Access you can't seem to set a VLAN but you can in General Mode??
Can anyone explain the basic config? or Explain "Tagged" / "Untagged" "Excluded" etc..?
I am using 802.1q encapsulation on the 2800 Side for the Trunk.

Can you see if page 238-239 in the Administration Guide (Chapter 14) helps?

Do you have a link to the guide?
The one I have Chap-14 is STP and the one online is Chap-14 Configuring Multicast Forwarding
Who would have guessed that the SMB would be harder to configure then the Catalyst ...
