SG200-26 will not sync with NTP servers

Hey guys I'm having a issue with my switch syncing with ntp servers. I have it enabled and I configured the SNTP servers ( time-a.timefreq.bldrdoc.gov, time-a.nist.gov  just to name a few) but they are showing down in the status. I have DNS configured and those hostnames are showing up in the host mapping as good and is pulling the ip address. Not to sure why it's not working....any thoughts?

Hi Castiel, try to use IP address instead.

I tried using the ip address status is still showing down

Hi Usmarine0622,

You might try to check if you have DNS server and default gateway configure for the switch itself.  You can try to see if ping to the NTP server  from the switch (Diagnostic utility) is sent correctly. And if above tests results are positive I would try to get packet capture of the uplink port and verify if the NTP packets are sent from the switch.
