SG250 signed firmware

Starting with v2.5.7 the firmware files have "signed" in the name.  What is the upgrade path if I am currently on v2.4.0?  Can I go straight to a signed firmware?  Is there some prep step I need to take before apply a signed firmware?

Hi,

it doesnt matter. you can upgrade to 2.5.X lower version first and then go to required version.

FYI:  I first applied the highest non-signed 2.5.x firmware, after that I applied the latest signed image and switch is good.  I am sure you are correct and I could have gone straight to signed version but I figured a pit stop on the way to signed imaged couldn't hurt.
