SG300-20 Truncated Config Output

I've inherited a dozen or so SG300-20 switches without knowing the current passwords.  Therefore, I have used the system reset button to restore one of the switches to the factory defaults.  So far, so good.  However, when I try to display the running-config, it appears as if it's being truncated as follows:

I am using the following PuTTY serial connection settings: 115200,8,1,None,XON/XOFF

Even if I change the configuration of one of the ports, it doesn't show in the output.

Has anyone else ever experienced this and/or have a recommendation of how to fix it?

Hello, 

You have very old firmware (2014 year), please, upgrade to latest and reset to factory again. Link to the newest firmware version:

Hi,

In the old version of Firmware I noticed that if your port is down than it will not show port configuration on gui and cli. 

Try to make port up and second best advise to upgrade it.

Thanks Deepak!  Even with the firmware upgrade, an interface will not show up in the configuration if it is shutdown.

CORRECTION:  When displaying the configuration using the CLI, an interface will display regardless of status as long as it is configured.

Hi,

If your switch port is not configured and showing configuration as

sho run interface FastEthernet7
Empty configuration

It will not reflect in running and startup configuration.
