SG300 and Esxi 6

To maximize bandwidth I would like to create a nic team on my Esxi 6.  Given this is not part virtual distributed switch LACP is not supported on the Esxi side.  Route based on IP hash is - and I assume this would handle traffic to my advantage

However I am not clear on the SG300-28 side if I should create a LAG or is there no need?  Would a LAG on the switch side actually create conflicts (LACP - route-based-on-IP hash)?

Any input would be well received.

Thanks!

You can create a nic teaming, and switch side you can use trunk or port-channel with mode on (instead of active LACP) - if server not supporting.
