I currently have the SG300-10 configured for inter-van routing in L3 mode, and is working as expected
There is no issue when assigning an IP to a VLAN and then assigning those VLAN to ports
I was hoping to use a IP on a Port as a gateway or as an end point, instead of an IP on VLAN assinged to a port
If I attempt to assign an IP to a port that is on the same network as an IP assigned to a VLAN
I get this error message "Duplicated IP interface on the same subnet.."
I am able to assign an IP to a port if it is NOT on the same network as an IP assigned to a VLAN
But I am not able to get to it, when I look at the Route table on the switch, I do not see it added like the VLAN Interfaces are
When trying to add a route for it, it get, "Gateway cannot be one of the addresses configured on this device.."
Can anyone help add clarity to what I am trying to accomplish,
and to the point/purpose of being able to assign an IP to a port?

In both of the following examples, GE10 is connected to a non vlan aware router
also, routes were added to the router for each subnet on the switch
Example 1 was done with the IP assinged to a VLAN on GE10
Example 2 was done with the IP assigned to the Port on GE10

solved: I was able to get it working
short answer:
I had to remove one of vlans that had an IP assigned to it
and then used that network IP and assined it to the port
long answer:
I will post examples here shortly to describe the before and after configs
