Hey,
i have some trouble in my network. Can you help me figure out what happen here?
I recognized sometimes connection issues and logged pings in my network.
Exacly to the time when the ping have problems i found this in the Log from my Cisco Switch.
gi10 is the connection port to the router.
what i've done so far:
- Changed the Cable
- Update the Switch from 1.4.0.88 to 1.4.11.5
- Disabled Auto Negotiation and set port speed to 1000M
the rest is in standard configuration
thanks

Hi,
according to the log,
gi10 is part of aggregation group. due to some issue this port flaps. check the other side device of connection and if you are not want to use aggregation, check LAG settings and clear it.
1. can be cable issue
2. can be other side device negotiation issue for LAG

Thank you for your quick response, i don't want to use aggregation i checked the documents and only find tutorials here to activate it? I thought if I do not configure it specifically it is not active, right? If I still need to specifically disable it so that it can not cause problems I need please a hint where I can find that.

post the show run from the device, let us know what is other side device ? what log you see that side too ?

You mean the running configuration? I attaced it with excluded sensitive data.
The device at the other side is a Fritzbox 6660 Cable, it has no port logging only a event log with no helpful entries.
I have using the router for about 4 weeks, I can't say if there was port flap before that. The ping aborts occurred suddenly from last week Wednesday and then increased significantly.
Because i allready changed the Cable and disabled negotiation i want to figure out the behavior from the Cisco Switch with another device at the other side. So i ordered a Fritzbox 6690 Cable, which i will test today after delivery.
