I am trying to configure some SNMP settings on my SF350-48MP switch but I get the error '% Wrong number of parameters or invalid range, size or characters entered'. The command is shown below:

snmp-server enable traps mac-notification change

snmp-server enable traps snmp linkdown linkup coldstart warmstart

Note: These commands work seamlessly on my catalyst switches.

Hi

Probably the command is different from catalyst.  I´d  recomend to enable it using web interface instead.

Hi @Flavio Miranda

Thank you for your response. I have tried using the web interface but it's not giving me what I want. I have setup snmp on the switch, but I need it to send mac notification changes to the host. Clearly, the command is different, I just need help figuring out the exact command to run on the switch.

Basically, everything configurable via CLI must be done via Web Interface. It sounds to me that you switch does not do what you intend to do.

You can check on the switch command manual.

I will continue to keep at it, hopefully, there's a solution to this issue. Thank you for your contribution.
