The offices are in two buildings connected by a short enclosed corridor (10'). The 2nd building was remodeled and all network connectors were home run back to a closet.
Now the 1st building is being remodeled and a nightmare of wiring is being redone to home run those back to a closet in that building.
Approximately 16 connections in each building so going with a 24-port.
What switch is suggested? A 24-port will be put in each building. Budget is a issue but I don't want to be blamed for a slow database they use.
The current switches are out of ports or there are multiple 8 port switches on the floor daisy chained (they will be gone).
The 16 devices is workstations and printers.
Thanks,
Darryl

$250 - $350 per switch; managed not necessary; fiber probably not needed as the distance is <75'.
Thanks.

Is this a switch choice to connect to office buildings (short corridor connects) with about 16 devices in each building?
Cisco SG200-26 Gigabit Ethernet Smart Switch with 24 10/100/1000 Ports and 2 Combo Mini-GBIC Ports (SLM2024T-NA)
Thanks.
