System parameters reset to zero SG350-28MP

Hello,

I had lost access to the SG350-28MP switch management WEB interface.
I reset the switch by pressing the reset button for 20 seconds, once released a lot of LEDs lit up.

The system LED has been flashing green rapidly for about 1 hour. Then from time to time for a couple of minutes, it turns a steady green. I have access to the WEB interface. RJ45 port 1 is lit green. Then after two minutes, it goes back to flashing green as if it's going round in a loop.

Should I try to reset it again?

@GBInformatics

On this case I dont see  much option. Try to reset It until it stabilize and make a software upgrade.

I need to take a USB key with the .bin file from the cisco site and put it in the USB port of the Cisco switch?

Dont believe you can do It using USB.

Take a look on this vídeo.

You can do from the web interface. In case you can access It.

In short, there's a good chance that it's defective ?...

Unfortunatelly, yes.

I'm disgusted, I don't understand what happened to make this happen.

Should I try to install the firmware via the console cable?

You need to have network connectivity anyway. You can not transfer the firmware using the console cable.

Can´t you return this device?

I do have a network connection. I can display the WEB management interface during two minutes.

I bought the product from my employer. I'm not sure about yesterday. Except that all my savings have gone to dust for the moment.

If you have network connection than follow the video and try to upgrade it. You can use console cable to run the commands.

I believe 2 minutes is enought for you to transfer the file.

I'm a bit confused by the situation. And very worried.

I log on to the interface and then to the cisco account. Then I go to ‘system’ or something like that to put the .bin file downloaded from ‘https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/switches/350-series-managed-switches/series.html#~tab-downloads’ and called ‘image_tesla_hybrid_2.5.9.54_release_cisco_signed’.

By following this tutorial: https://octavainc.com/blog/cisco-sg350-switch-firmware-update-rollback-procedure/

The procedure seems right. What are you worried about?

The switch is already faulty.

What worries me is that the switch is defective even though it's 1 month old... and I've put my savings into it.

Important information every time it loses the password configuration.

Wouldn't that be more software?

Hard to say. Only after upgrading you can find out.

You should consider talking to your employer and return It.

Is not Fair.
