Hello.
I have the following transceiver, HP B-series 10Gb SFP+ Short Range Transceiver

I would like to know if there is any 10g ethernet module for catalyst 6500 which supports this connection.

Hello,
We have some newer 6900 line cards support SFP+ optics on 6500. They are support with SUP2T.
What is the 6500 system configuration for you?

You can use SFP+ optics on HP chassis and use normal X2 10G optics on 6500 modules. That should work fine.
Hope this helps.

I have 2 WS-SUP720-3B which does not support 10ge.
I'm thinking to replace these two supervisors with VS-720-10G-3C and buy 2 6708-10G modules with X2 adapters.
Is this configuration right?

Yes, that seems ok to me. I would suggest to look at 6716 module though which will allow you greater density though for future. You should be able to have this config work with SFP+ optics on HP chassis.
Just to make you doubly sure on this :
