We have a number of 1721 routers with T1 WIC ( DSU/CSU) using point to point T1 links. Recently we had line issues with a T1 going down for a
while. When the T1 issue was corrected the routers could not re-establish the protocol link. This required the routers to be re-booted to establish the
link. This has been an ongoing with all of our T1 links over the last 4 years. IOS is 12.3(6c)
