1G SFP module in 10G port

Hi Can we connect GLC-SX-MMD (1G) SFP module into C9300-NM-8X  which is 10G?

as per Transceiver Module Group (TMG) Compatibility Matrix  it is showing there

pls confirm.

yes you can as below from my 93s

Hi

I want to connect Cisco C1300-24XS to C1300-24T-4X with 1G SFP modular (GLC-SX-MMD=). Could any one please confirm it?

I also check Cisco compatibility matrix too and found both model support GLC-SX-MMD= SFP modular.
