1GB port connectivity on a Cisco 4900M

Is it possible to use 1GB (SFP / Copper) on the built-in 8 x X2-10GB ports without any Network Module of 1/10GB. If so how.

Yes, you can use a TwinGig coverter to "convert" a 10 Gbps port (X2) into two SFP ports.

Refer to Table 2 and Figure 4.

Hi,

Not to take away from Leolaohoo's response, but to clarify -- you can only use the TwinGig on the 8 port 2:1 add-on module, not the built-in ports.
