2611XM Vlan support

Hello,

i want to know if it's possible to use vlan dot1q on a cisco 2611XM 12.2(12b) with 2 Fastethernet interfaces.

I try to configure sub interfaces but it seems that i need to configure the interface as a part of 802.1Q and i don't know how to do that or the command.

Can you please help me ?

You need to put "encapsulation dot1q vlan-identifier" under the subinterface. If you can only define the interface but get a error messase when you try to configure the encapsulation command you need a different IOS. IPPLUS is minimum one that contains the support for 802.1q.
