Hi,
Has anyone ever come across this error message on a 2821 router during boot ?
% Error opening nvram:/ifIndex-table No such file or directory
I can't seem to find anything in cco that explains this error message.
Any advice appreciated.

Likely a cosmetic IOS bug that you can ignore if everything else works normally.

This pertains to the NVRAM file "ifindex-table", which is:
Interface Index Table
It is a file that contains a matrix with numerical values assigned to each interface on the device. It looks like it is mostly related to SNMP for tracking the names of interfaces for polling.
