Hi
i was helping a friend with a lab today and we had 1x 2960 switch and 1 x 3750 switch and wanted to route between vlans 1 on vlan 30 1 on vlan 40.
we had our pc's plugged into the respective vlan's on the layer 2 switch and could ping the SVI on the layer 3 switch but could not route between the vlans i checked that ip routing was enabled but still no joy.
i would appreciate it if someone could have a look at the configs and tell me where i went wrong.
Thanks in advance
Simon

Hello!
You have to create the vlans in layer 2 in the 3750 (vlan 30 and vlan 40), try it and tell me the result.
