2960S-48TS-L take 10 minutes to boot and start, why?

Dear Expert,

May I know why my 2960S-48TS-L takes 10 minutes to boot and start, some just take 1 minute, but one of them take up to 10 minutes, but after that it works fine, why?

Hi Echo,

Do you the console los while the switch bootup time? I am not quite sure why does it taking long time to boot but you could try this below option, then check the performance.

• Reformat the flash
  
• Download the IOS image again (make sure you have enough room avilable to copy image on flash drive)
  
• Please ensure that you don't reboot until you verify that there is a good IOS image in flash.
  
• Then reload the switch, and check the performance
