I have an 8 port 3560-CX that is powered over the uplink ports. I have it connected to a 4510 with a UPOE module. The compact switch initially boots with 15.4 watts and eventually hits a check where it tries to negotiate more power to continue booting. However, it hangs here. If I plug in the DC power it will see the additional power and boot up fine. Once booted, I can unplug the DC power brick and it will pull 60 watts from UPOE. However, during boot it cannot seem to negotiate anything beyond 15.4 watts. I do have CDP enabled.
