Hello,
I have a stack of 4 x WS-C3750G-12S and am trying to add a 3750E switch. All switches have been loaded with a similar feature set (IPBase) and level of IOS:
c3750-ipbase-mz.122-40.SE.bin
c3750e-universalk9-mz.122-40.SE.bin
...and reloaded. However, I'm seeing an SDM mismatch with the new 3750E switch. Looking at "show sdm prefer" the existing 3750-12S have a default of "aggregate default" and the 3750E "desktop default". I changed both to "sdm prefer VLAN" and reloaded but it still reports SDM mismatch.
I notice the sdm prefer statement varies between switches - 3750-12S states "aggregate VLAN" and the 3750E "VLAN default".
I have got the 3750E working with a stahdard 3750 switch, so my question is, is the 3750E compatible with a 3750-12S given they have different default SDM templates? If so, what do I need to do to get them talking to each other?
Thanks in advance.
Phil

Phil,
Here is why:
Try changing the sdm template on the master to "sdm prefer default desktop".
Hope it helps,
Gary
