But i can´t understand, why the 15.x-Versions of IOS doesn´t run on old versions of the Switch?!? Is there an explanation for this.
Yes. Two, and they are:
1. If your legacy 3750/3750G only has 24 mb flash, then the highest IOS version you can run is 12.2(55)SE-train. You will not be able to run 12.2(58)SE nor the 15.0 because the IOS file sizes (BIN file alone) won't fit.
2. Bugs. Lots of bugs in the IOS versions I've mentioned.

Unless you have a specific feature found only in all the sub-train of 15.0(1)SE, I'd strongly recommend you stay as far away from this version as possible. The most stable IOS I've used, so far, is 12.2(55)SE7.
Otherwise, if you need something in 15.0, try (at your own risk) IOS version 15.0(2)SE2.

HI Sebastian,
The error messages that you are getting appear during initialization period:
Mar 30 01:27:40.273: %CRYPTO-0-SELF_TEST_FAILURE: Encryption self-test failed (Software self-integrity test)
Mar 30 01:27:40.701: %CRYPTO-0-SELF_TEST_FAILURE: Encryption self-test failed (RBG: unable to initialize rbg)
Mar 30 01:27:40.701: %CRYPTO-0-SELF_TEST_FAILURE: Encryption self-test failed (SP 800-90 DRBG)
And suggest either image corruption or hardware failure.
Hence our action plan would be first on the software.
As suggested by Leo kindly try to upload the image 12.2(55)SE7 or SE8 which are quite stable and good release on to the device and that should solve your issue.

Thanks for your answers.
This was the second switch 3750 with version 02. In both experiments, I had no chance to install a 15.x-Version. Most of the 12.x-Version run without problems.
At least our supplier changed the switch and now we have a switch with version 03, which hopefully runs without problems.
But i can´t understand, why the 15.x-Versions of IOS doesn´t run on old versions of the Switch?!? Is there an explanation for this.

Hi Leo
Thanks for your answer. That seems logical.
