Hi, I'm experiencing some strange scenario on 2 3750x switches in stack mode.
After updating the IOS from 12.2(53r)SE1 to 15.0(2)SE, I'm getting some annoying logs like this:
%PLATFORM_STACKPOWER-4-UNDER_BUDGET: Switch 1 does not have sufficient power budget
Then checking the stack-power config I noticed that the Power budget from switch 1 is different from switch 2:
Power Stack Stack Stack Total Rsvd Alloc Unused Num Num
Name Mode Topolgy Pwr(W) Pwr(W) Pwr(W) Pwr(W) SW PS
-------------------- ------ ------- ------ ------ ------ ------ --- ---
Powerstack-2 SP-PSS Ring 700 271 446 -17 2 2
Power stack name: Powerstack-2
    Stack mode: Power sharing strict
    Stack topology: Ring
    Switch 1:
        Power budget: 206
        Power allocated: 223
        Low port priority value: 22
        High port priority value: 13
        Switch priority value: 4
        Port 1 status: Connected
        Port 2 status: Connected
        Neighbor on port 1: Switch 2 - c471.fe35.d600
        Neighbor on port 2: Switch 2 - c471.fe35.d600
    Switch 2:
        Power budget: 223
        Power allocated: 223
        Low port priority value: 21
        High port priority value: 12
        Switch priority value: 3
        Port 1 status: Connected
        Port 2 status: Connected
        Neighbor on port 1: Switch 1 - c471.fe56.5b00
        Neighbor on port 2: Switch 1 - c471.fe56.5b00
I searched a lot throught the internet but didn't found anything, only that the first IOS version power budget was 206 and any IOS after this uses 223.
Do you guys have any idea what i can do?
I already changed the Stack mode to redundant, strict and non-strict, but the problem remais.
Also, this model of switch 3750X consumes a lot of CPU, the HULC Led Proccess keeps on 30% almost all the time.
If you guys could help me I'll really appreciate.
Thanks in advance,
Cristiano.

Hi,
This issue has close match to a known Bug - CSCtt70484
CSCtt70484 - %PLATFORM_STACKPOWER-4-UNDER_BUDGET: Switch 2 does not have sufficient p
Please try the above mentioned work around then share the detail.
Also, this model of switch 3750X consumes a lot of CPU, the HULC Led Proccess keeps on 30% almost all the time.
The "Hulc LED" process does following tasks:
The Catalyst 3750-X switches have a CPU utilization level that is higher than the previous models of the Catalyst 3750 switches. This is normal behavior.
One can expect that the overall CPU utilization will be between 25 - 35%. Plugging PoE devices into all ports on a 3750-X switch will cause the CPU utilization to increase however it will remain in the normal 25 - 35% range, but in our case there are no POE devices connected to the
switch.
Since almost all of the packet forwarding is done in hardware and not by the CPU a CPU utilization of 25 - 35% should not be cause for concern.

Thanks Aru,
I'll try to do this on some weekend and then post the result.
These are the core switches from one of our branches abroad, so it ain't that easy to do it.
Thanks again!
Cristiano.
