3850 Stack switch IOS upgrade Procedure

what is the best way to IOS upgrade for 3850 switch.

My understanding is the copy IOS from tftp/sftp or using scp to Switch flash that is the Master switch IOS then copy master switch flash that is flash-1: to all other member switch flash like flash-2, flash3....

verify the md5 of the IOS to make sure IOS copied is not currupt and it is correct one and match the value given on software.cisco.com for that particular IOS

Then change the switch boot sequence to new IOS in config mode.

boot syst switch all flash:[image name]

save the config and reload command to reload entire stack.

Please let me know someone have any other way or Bestway to do this.

Read the Release Notes very carefully:  Release Notes have detailed steps on how to upgrade the firmware using "Install Mode" (recommended).
