I have a stack of 4 3850-12X48U switches. I have a number of devices that quit working on switch #1 in the stack after a period of time. Is there anything that anyone can think of that can cause this? All 3 other switches are not having the issue. There is a port channel back to a Nexus 9396 switch that is acting as our core.

What happens when they quit working? Interface are up, just won't pass traffic? Could just be faulty hardware I suppose.

When it quits working the device plugged into switch #1 can only communicate with some devices on our network. This is a layer 3 routed network.

Check the version of IOS you are running for bugs that can effect the access ports. Also, collect the logs from the switch when it happens and send them to Cisco for analysis.

I am running 03.07.03E on 10 switch stacks. This is the only stack I have issues with. It also seems to only happen to switch #1 in this stack.
