IHAC who has a bit of Cisco fatigue. They will refresh their Cisco Catalyst LAN hardware with Cisco, but they want to move away from OpManager and explore a 3rd party alternative that can do network monitoring, as well as more holistic configuration deployment and management. Cisco keeps trying to ram DNA/SD-Access down their throats.
Does anyone have any tried and tested 3rd party alternative recommendations?

For network monitoring, we use AKiPS.

On the commercial side Solarwinds for Catalyst is fine, but if you have DC technologies that might become a bit more diffcult from the configuration deployment.
On the other side of the spectrum "FOSS", monitoring you have Icinga, Nagios, Observium with a large community supporting them. Now for Config Management, i haven't seen any all round "product" except using Ansible and/or some Python/others
