4500X - VSS - EPagP and DAD

Hi

I am looking at using 2x 4500X switches in a VSS setup.

I want to connect several stacks of 2960x series switches in an MEC arrangement, one to each VSS member.

Preferably I would like to use Dual Active Detection on the VSS.

Would the 2960x switches need to us EPagP or could I still use LACP?

They would be connected across stack channel members.

Hi, 

because PAgP is not supported in cross stack etherchannel in 2960-x, ePAgP(PAgP+) dual active detection does not suit you...

But, 4500-x since IOS XE 3.5.0E support Dual-Active Fast Hello, you can use it...
