Hi,
I am facing problem in one of my Cisco 4505 (with SUP V) switch . It is getting hang. During that time I am not able to login untill and unless I restart the switch.
During this I checked the netflow analyser and I saw there are some machines connected to the switch were transfering like terabyte of data (As 4Tb Storage is connected to that switch)
The reason what I am thinking was complete backplane utilization of the switch. Can somebody please guide me how to check the backplan utilization on Cisco 6505 switch or if not what could be the reason for switch getting hang.

If you issue the "sh environment" command it should show the switch bandwidth utilization.

On the 6500 you can use 'show fabric utilization' to show fabric bandwith usage, and 'show catalyst6000 traffic-meter' to show DBUS usage.
