Hi,

I have a issue with a module in a VSS cluster using 6708 switches. There are around 60 multi chassis-etherchannel connections to access layer devices connected but I have a issue where all connection on one module are all showing down. The modules are powered up and showing no errors. Please see below:

As you will see all connections are working for modules 1 and 5 on switch 2 but not for module 2

Has anyone ever seen this or had the same issue

Glenn

No one ?

Hi both chassis are effected looking at that output , what way are these physically setup , is it a link off each chassis connected to 1 access switch  in a triangle yes ?

to start with need to see the configs and what ways its cabled as these are ether channels failures , miss config can cause this   , can you post the below interfaces and the configs off the connecting switches that there linked to and also the cdp off each of the VSS and the connected access switches below to start with to see the setup

is it the same for LACP to rule out the protocol

have you checked for STP issues on these interfaces , all forwarding etc not blocking
