8-fiber MPO and 12-fiber MPO Compatible?

Is an 8-fiber MPO connector compatible with a 12-fiber MPO connector? I cannot find this information anywhere.

Should be.  It is just with 8 fiber you get 4 10gig ports and with 12 fiber you get 6 10gig ports.

I am use 8-fiber
