9300 SNMP Management

I have configured 9300 switch with management on MGMT port. No IP defined on vlan or physical interfaces.

I have configured snmp V3 and I am unable to monitor the switch using my NMS software. Is there any specific setting need to be defined to monitor on MGMT interface?

Hi there,

Have you appended all of your snmp-server statements with use-vrf Mgmt-vrf  ?

cheers,

Seb.

please provide the commands.

I have defined the following

SNMP-Server group TestSNMPv3Group v3 priv Read TestSNMPv3View Write TestSNMPv3View
SNMP-Server group TestSNMPv3Group v3 priv context vlan match prefix
SNMP-Server view TestSNMPv3View Internet included
SNMP-Server user TestSNMPv3User TestSNMPv3Group v3 auth SHA 1q2w3e4r priv AES 1q2w3e4r

 - You may also have some manual snmp v3-based command line testing , before using the NMS.
