Hi,
we have a Stack 2x C9300L-24P-4X
did Switch reboot, but noticed that switch does not change to Role to "Standby" , but to Role "Member" instead
- in "Redundant System Information" is Hardware Mode = Simplex (instead of Duplex)
How can we ensure that switch will join back and not fly out after reboot ?

I do not see any issue here as per the output.
Turn off whole stack and bring back and test it. (if you going this route, make switch priority also, and save the config - before you reload)

post below output :
#show switch detail

If you like provisionbing you can do below config also setup a priority so master can be elected.
switch 1 provision c9300-XX
switch 2 provision c9300-XX
