Interesting. Does this mean that when a switch that was previously in 1+1 mode is joined to a stack that is in normal N+1 mode, does not boot or join the stack ?? I cannot find much information on cisco about interoperability of these two modes. What happens when an N+1 is added to a 1+1 stack ? i guess nothing, he will join as a member. But what happens when a previous 1+1 is added to an existing N+1 stack ??
