Hello all. I have a new 9407r which i tried to upgrade to latest ios. Reason whatever reason we used the wrong ios.
This machine has DUAL XL1 supervisors. I managed to DELETE the incorrect ios from one of the supervisors, but it is continually trying to boot from it on the other supervisor. Can someone suggest how I might be able to break in and delete this incorrect ios so BOTH supervisors boot from the original ios?
we have already manged to use break key sequence to delete the file from one of the cards, but are struggling with the other
The INCORRECT IOS is cat9k_iosxe.16.06.04a.SPA.bin
we are trying to rollback to cat9k-cc_srdriver.16.09.02.SPA.pkg
Any ideas before I try TAC?

Thanks for the swift reply. We have now relived this issue. 1.To do this we removed the primary then inserted the secondary in its place. 2. We then rebooted and used ctrl brk to get in to it. 3. We then booted to correct ios from USB 4. We then replaced cards into original slots and all is OK now. I think this is a very long winded way of doing this although it worked does anyone know a faster process for recovery?
