9500-32C model

I am upgrading our network solely and decided on the 9500 and 9600 to replace our 6509s since they are aging and have limited life left.

For the cores I will use two 9606 with SVL and only install 40/100 interfaces probably.

At  some of the smaller sites remote sites (they all have multiple SM fiber paths connecting to the core and adjacent sites) I plan on using possibly the 9500-32C

Here are my questions...

The 9500-32C    supports 32 40 or 32 100 Gb interfaces. Can I assume I can intermix the 40 and 100 Gb optics in any port combinations without any kind of limitation?

I plan on using QSA adapters to support older switch stacks are not yet upgraded. Can any port support these without limitations?  Meaning could I have one port using a QSA and all other 31 ports running at 100Gb ??  except for the SVL wich I think have a 40Gb limit still.

For the 9606 line card 40/100 is the same allowed or do I have combination limitations. The data sheets don't cover this info.

Thanks.

C9500-32C - has multi-gig capabilities, so for your requirement, it works.

This depends on what line card you referring to here. (hopefully - C9600-LC-24C - this has came capabilities)

12-100G or 24-40G
