A problem about WS-X6348-RJ-45

Hi netpro:

I have a big problem ,the module WS-X6348-RJ-45 is not working on my core switch 6509 , the port can't forword the packet ,and I reload the switch ,so all ports on module 6348 is orange ,and display errdisable.

Please tell me what is the real fault on the module ,thanks.

Hi Friend,

The error displayed as "Coil Packet Buffer Error" gives an indication of hardware failure. But before getting it replaced can you try reseating the card in some other slot and if you get same error in "sh test" then get it replaced.

thank u for your response, I reseat the module x6348 from slot 4 to slot 3 , the error displayed still.
