A question about ip dhcp snooping

Should dhcp snooping trust applied to the root port same as where guard loop applied  but dhcp snooping applied in access switch only?

Hi Ho,

DHCP Snooping protects from ineligible devices acting as DHCP servers (rogue dhcp servers) and also DHCP messages send to ineligible devices. Therefore, it is on the access layer switches you will need to configure DHCP Snooping for protection. If you want to configure it on all switches (including core switches), do not forgot to configure "dhcp snooping trust" on the uplink connections.
