About Cisco Switch Stack

I have some question about Cisco Stack.

1.Do I need the same model, license and IOS software versions to stack between 9300 sku？

2.How many C9606R can I stack？

3.Can I do virtual stacking on channelports.For example，if I make 8 ports of the same type on two C9606R line cards into channelport, can I create stacked links on these two channelports?

1. 9300L can only be stacked with another 9300L. 
2. 9300L cannot be stacked with a plain 9300 nor 9300X. 
3. Same firmware version.
4. Install mode or Bundle mode and not both.

IF there is a VSS pair, a Port Channel with 5 physical ports from switch 1 and 3 ports from switch 2 can be configured.

Thkans for your reply！Sorry，I still have a doubt that why both switches dont make a Port-Channel with 8 physical ports?

Five on one side and three on the other. Isn't the speed at both ends different?
